Technology is moving so quickly that it can be hard to keep up.

New tools, new techniques, and new possibilities in AI emerge every week. Somewhere between the hype and the jargon, it's easy to feel left behind.

That's why we built Replit Learn, a free educational platform that teaches you how to build apps with AI. No coding experience required.

Just clear, practical lessons that help you understand what's actually possible and how to do it yourself.

What Is Replit Learn?

Replit Learn is a collection of video lessons, interactive exercises, and hands-on examples designed to help you turn ideas into real applications.

The platform focuses on outcomes, not syntax. You learn to communicate with AI, shape your vision, and create working software.

At the heart of Replit Learn is a concept we call vibe coding: a fast, interactive way to prototype and explore ideas with AI as your creative partner.

What you'll learn

Our first course, AI Foundations, is launching now. The first three lessons are available today, with three more coming soon. Here's a sneak peek:

How Apps Work

Software is all around us — from the alarm clock that wakes you up to the browser you're reading this on. An application is software designed to perform a specific task for a specific type of person.

You'll learn when building your own app makes sense versus using existing tools.

How AI Works

The AI tools you use today are powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) — systems trained on massive amounts of text from the internet, books, code, and conversations. These models predict the next word based on patterns they've learned.

You'll understand concepts like tokens, non-determinism, and the difference between reactive LLMs and agents that can use tools to accomplish multi-step tasks.

How To Vibe Code

Vibe coding is a new way of creating software. You describe what you want in plain language, then work with Replit Agent until you've built what you're looking for.

The key is the describe-critique-iterate loop:

  • Describe: Tell the AI what you want to build and why
  • Critique: Look at what it gives you. What works? What's off?
  • Iterate: Refine your direction until it matches your vision

Think of it like painting. You start with a clear vision, make marks on the canvas, step back to look, and adjust strokes that don't feel right. Each iteration closes the gap between your vision and reality.

What's next

AI Foundations is just the beginning. We're developing three additional courses:

  • Intro to Replit: Get hands-on with the platform, learn to navigate the workspace, and deploy your first app
  • Advanced Vibes: Master advanced prompting techniques and build more complex applications
  • Replit at Work: Apply vibe coding to professional contexts with internal tools and workflow automation

Start learning today

Replit Learn is completely free. No sign-up required for your first lessons. You can start building your first app today.

Whether you're an entrepreneur with an idea, a professional who needs custom tools, or someone curious about what's possible with AI, Replit Learn gives you everything you need to begin.

The barrier between having an idea and building a working app has never been lower. Set yourself up for success on your vibe coding journey.
