ChatGPT can now create, update, and deploy Replit Apps directly in your chat. Tag @replit in any message, describe your app, and watch Agent build it while you wait.
The preview shows up right in the conversation. Make changes by typing what you want:
- Add a dark mode
- Make the buttons blue
- Include a payment form
Each request updates your app instantly and your apps live in your Replit account. Open them anytime to add databases, connect APIs, or publish to custom domains.
How It Works
Connect in 30 seconds
- Open ChatGPT settings
- Go to Apps & Connectors
- Find Replit and hit Connect
- Sign in to Replit (or create a free account)
Build your first app
Start any message with "@replit" and describe what you need:
"@replit build me a restaurant bill splitter that shows what each person owes including tip"
ChatGPT shows build progress as Agent works. Minutes later, you get an interactive preview. Click to test it. Type to change it.
Keep building
Your app stays in that ChatGPT conversation. Come back tomorrow and pick up where you left off. Add features. Fix bugs. Polish the design. When you're ready, open in Replit to publish.
[Note: Each conversation can work with one Replit App. If you create a new app in the same conversation, it will modify the existing app. To create multiple apps, start separate conversations.]

This integration works in markets where the ChatGPT App Store is available. You'll need:
- A ChatGPT account (Free, Plus, Pro, or Teams)
- A Replit account (free Starter works, Core or Teams recommended for private apps and databases)
Business and Enterprise users: ask your admin to enable Replit in Workspace settings.
