Today, we’re excited to introduce Queue, a new capability designed to enhance the core Replit Agent experience. Queue allows users to submit multiple requests while the agent is actively working on a task, ensuring a continuous, uninterrupted app creation flow. As each task is completed, the agent automatically moves on to the next in the queue—no more waiting, switching context, or losing ideas.
This launch is part of Replit's broader commitment to simplify project planning during app development. Together with the new creation UX, replit.md, and now Queue, we aim to make Replit Agent more consistent and reliable in building an app aligned with your vision.
Why We Built Queue
In observing how Replit builders interact with Replit Agent, we identified a common pattern:
- You run your app, get a flash of inspiration, and instantly think of three more things to tweak or explore.
- But you’re stuck—you have to wait for the agent to finish before you can share what’s next.
- So you start jotting your ideas elsewhere (a notes app, a sticky note, or just hope you remember), or try bundling everything into one message—which often leads to confusion and suboptimal results.
Queue was built to remove this bottleneck. It allows you to stay in the app creation flow without sacrificing structure or clarity.
A Builder-Centric Workflow, Reimagined

When the agent is actively handling a request and you send another, a message queue drawer appears—an elegant, lightweight interface that seamlessly integrates into your workflow. With Queue, you can:
- Add multiple tasks for the agent to process in order.
- Edit, reorder, or reprioritize messages on the fly.
- Attach files and adjust settings—including toggling extended thinking or selecting a different model—per task.
It’s more than a to-do list. It’s a living, interactive pipeline that lets you think and build at the speed of your imagination.
